Welcome to the new Auto Amateur podcast that compliments the YouTube channel by the same name. This first, in a new series of podcasts is for car enthusiasts who like driving, garages and maintaining their cars. In this first episode I answer some of the questions that get asked the most through my YouTube channel... why did I start making videos? Why the Porsche 911? How did I end up in Minnesota USA? I also talk about what to expect from AutoAmateur in 2020.

I'm the guy who stabbed his steering wheel's airbag with a knife. Yup, I'm THAT guy...
In this episode I talk about the time I tried to upgrade the steering wheel in my Porsche 911 and what drove me (pun intended) to take a knife to the airbag. It wasn't my finest moment of car ownership, but it certainly made for a great YouTube video and an epic photo. We live and learn, right?
