Authentic Faith and Live - The Fulfillment of What is Spoken to Us from the Lord

The Fulfillment of What is Spoken to Us from the Lord

Authentic Faith and Live

The Feast of the Visitation

Ever have one of those days when it could not possibly turn out good? Crisis, frustration, events leave you depleted, devastation, or dangerously disgusted? Radical, overwhelming, crazy, insane events take the breath out of you?

How does God show up in this? How does He confirm to you that He is REAL?

Mary and Elizabeth had radical, overwhelming, crazy, insane, likely initially traumatic events (like an angel appearing) happen to them! How did Mary’s visit, in haste, anchor them to know that God was working in their lives? How did their being together give them the ability to handle the unknown, unexpected, and uncertain? God breathed Grace into them, in their holding each other up, and gave them the ability to go forward that day.

Do things happen for a reason? Join Dr. Sue Ellen Nolan as she looks at the relationship between Mary and Elizabeth and their coming together in the midst of the spectacular miracles happening in their lives. How does God work in such things? How does He work in unreasonable things?

Ezekiel 37: 1-14

Oh My Soul

Casting Crowns

Oh, my soul

Oh, how you worry

Oh, how you’re weary, from fearing you lost control

This was the one thing, you didn’t see coming

And no one would blame you, though

If you cried in private

If you tried to hide it away, so no one knows

No one will see, if you stop believing

Here and now

You can be honest

I won’t try to promise that someday it all works out

‘Cause this is the valley

And even now, He is breathing on your dry bones

And there will be dancing

There will be beauty where beauty was ash and stone

This much I know

Arms Crossed Across My Chest

Jesus meet us in the Mass in Mercy, no matter where we are in our lives. He meets us exactly where we’re at. And He loves us there. What does it mean when you see someone with crossed arms across their chest in the line to receive the Eucharist? St. Paul admonishes the Corinthians on receiving Jesus worthily. What did the early church in Scripture teach about the state of Grace? Its all there with St. Paul. St Paul received his marching orders in a direct infusion of grace, unlike the Apostles who were taught directly from Christ Himself, or their disciples who learned it from their actions and oral traditions as it was handed on. St Paul shows us how we are to imitate Christ in what He taught him and “do this in remembrance.” Therefore there must be some definition of being outside of Grace and some definition of sin. Join Dr. Sue Ellen Nolan as she experiences the mercy and love of God, in the Mass, through the ministers of Holy Communion, the priests and the deacons. Listen to two stories of the goodness within us and how that goodness images God, our creator, and how He created us for communion with Him. Find out how we are both the image and likeness of God and what that means for us today. Christianity is founded on a loving God that doesn’t need us but simply loves us, for ourselves, no matter our imperfections. God is Love, and we are His.
