Welcome to episode number four of At The Corner where in today's episode, we'll recap the Jays series. I had the pleasure of being joined by my good twitter buddy Chuck for this one. Chuck is a passionate Cleveland fan and has great knowledge of the game, it was alot of fun to have a conversation instead of just me talking to the mic.

We'll preview the upcoming three game series vs. the White Sox. The White Sox will be trotting out some of their best starting pitching, which we'll preview the matchups and keys to victory. Nothing like embarrassing your divisional opponents when they come to visit, so let's hope they can do it again on the road!

In this episode of At The Corner, we recap the San Diego Padres coming to town, preview the upcoming 4-game Blue Jays series that will take us through the weekend, and we'll talk prospects! Today's TalentTalk will feature Will Benson, George Valera, and Logan T. Allen
Shoutout to Steven Kwan who pulls though with the walk-off win in Game 2 of the Friars series!
The Blue Jays come to town and feature some of the leagues best pitching and hitting. While their team average does not show it, they are a VERY capable offensive team with solid starting pitching to back it up but have some bullpen vulnerability that can be exploited.
TalenTalk today will focus on talent at the AA level where the Guardians have some of their best prospects in the organization! Will Benson (who doesn't get talked about a lot) is having a great start, George Valera is still solid and Logan Allen is embarrassing hitters for breakfast.

Welcome to episode one of Sabermetric school! Bring your notebooks and pencils as we take a deep dive into the basic and advanced stats of the game of baseball, and how we use them to compare players.

In this first episode, we will start with basic offensive terms and work our way up to some of the advanced metrics we see used in the game today. We'll talk about how some of the super fancy "+" metrics let us look at players in ways we never had possible for, and why it's important. Statistics have changed the way that front offices around the league build their teams, including down to the way that they draft their prospects. This series aims to make these advanced terms more accessible as they shape the game going into the future.
