Hello & welcome back to another AstroChat. Today Kimberly & Monika are meeting up to discuss this year's second New Moon in Aries. Depending on which side of the pond you live on, this lunation will occur on April 19 or 20 at 29 Aries.
But wait - there's more! In addition to the New Moon being at the anaretic degree (29) of Aries, this is the second consecutive New Moon in Aries we will experience this year which is a fairly rare occurrence. But wait - there's even more!
This is a solar eclipse, and it is the first eclipse we have had in years in something other than the Taurus/Scorpio axis. Plus there is a super tight square to Pluto, sextile to Saturn & a conjunction with Jupiter. But wait - there's more (yes we said it again!)
Venus & Neptune are effectively unaspected plus Mercury is conjunct Uranus & will retrograde within hours after the eclipse occurs. Kimberly reminds us that (as they say in the operas) it isn't over until the fat lady sings while Monika compares this to the Alpha & Omega.
However you view things, there certainly is a lot to unpack! So sit back and join us for a look at the second New Moon in Aries.
