Almost a decade ago, the National Football League pushed through a scandal involving the effects of the sport of the brains of its athletes. After years of denials and obstruction, the NFL settled a lawsuit in 2013 to provide healthcare benefits to its former players to treat their cognitive issues. The problem? It turns out the league actively used racist medical ideologies to make it harder for Black former players to receive their fair share of the settlement. And once again, the league scrambles to deny, cover up, and move on from this story.

An accidental deep dive episode, kind of... More of a 'rabbit-hole' episode.

In the spring of 2020, a lot was going on in the world. But behind closed doors at twitter, something was brewing, and a potential change at the top of the company was in the works. But who were the people looking to shake things up? And what does their past say about their capabilities?

Some classic, dirty, corporate boardroom politics, and just how far you can go with enough money.
