Local and Live is BACK, in collaboration with Liverpool Arts Bar and hosted by Meg Shaw, to bring you a NEW platform, NEW artists, and NEW music - weekly!
It's time for episode 4: with co-hosts Motel Sundown chatting about their debut album, their live session tracks and their plans to gig in amphitheatres in Italy dressed as gladiators!
Sometimes things just come together in the most organic and natural way, in a pub full of music and laughter. For trio Motel Sundown, made up of Naomi, Karen and Rob, it was on the Liverpool gigging circuit where all three members met back in 2016. “The dream for me was to find people you want to play and write with, playing to people who love listening to music”, says Karen. Rob adds: “we’re all close friends and fans of each other’s music, so if you can do that as a lifestyle that in itself is a dream”. With 3 singles and a debut album under their belts, we thought we’d grab them for a catch up on all things Motel Sundown.
Not only that, but we've got your all important Gig Guide, new releases from Danelia and Badri ft. Naila, and have a chat about some exciting news in the local scene!
