Where we highlight individuals and organizations who are currently making a great impact within their communities. Each episode we bring together two distinct creatives united by their passion, yet divergent in their journeys, to discover and tell their stories.
On this episode we had the wonderful opportunity to chat with folks who are helping develop their local communities.
In the 1st conversation, our guest host Rayos Magos chatted with special guest Jessica Punzalan. Jessica is the Creative Service Program Manager at Local Color in San Jose. She is also an illustrator who participates in local art events. Rayos and Jessica chat about her early college years, working at museums and life during the pandemic, current and upcoming projects at Local Color, and so much more!
In the second half, we chat with Rosaura Figueroa Mendoza from StackFest. Rosaura is a Creative Director who helps organize several events in Hayward / East Bay. We chat about how she first got into community work, collaborating with local artists and businesses, upcoming StackFest events, and other interesting topics.
