Where we highlight individuals and organizations who are currently making a great impact within their communities. Each episode we bring together two distinct creatives united by their passion, yet divergent in their journeys, to discover and tell their stories.
On this premiere episode and to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, we had the wonderful opportunity to chat with folks within the art education space.
In the 1st conversation, our wonderful guest host May M. Lo chatted with her fellow studio mate and special guest David Rosales. David has been an educator in the bay area for several years. He is also an illustrator who participates in various local art shows. They chat about how David initially got into teaching, what he finds most rewarding about being an educator, projects he’s currently working on, and so much more!
In the second half, guest host Genevieve chats with our 2nd special guest Justin aka JAMM the Artist. Justin is also an art educator who has been teaching classes and various workshops. They discuss his early days becoming a teacher, growing up with creative parents, teaching during the pandemic, and other interesting topics.
