E14 Kasia Kręcicka talks about getting serious about her art practice
03/09/23 • 55 min
About our guest
Kasia Kręcicka is an independent abstract artist from Poland. She works mainly with acrylics which she combines with every tool and technique that leaves a mark. She’s currently based in her home town Włocławek after years of traveling the world.
Kasia graduated from Fine Art Academy and previously worked in graphic design and illustration. She became a full time artist in 2015.
Finding her ‘aha moment’ in contact with nature shifted her perspective and opened her up to awareness, soul-searching and self-development, both as human and as an artist.
At the time of this episode, Kasia had a solo show at the Gallery for Contemporary Art, Wloclawek, Poland.

E13 A Life of Creative Experiments with Photographer Jeremy Cowart
About our guest
Jeremy Cowart has spent the past 15 years as a photographer, specializing in celebrity portraiture and humanitarian photography projects around the world. Before becoming a photographer, he spent time as both an abstract painter and a graphic designer.
Jeremy’s career has often been called a Forrest Gump art career. He just chases ideas in whichever direction they lead him, finding himself in the most random of new situations, moments of success and failures, all while dealing with his own life’s hardships (raising 4 kids - one with special needs - and managing his own neurological disease)
From being named the internet’s most influential photographer at one point to speaking in stadiums to being featured at an art auction alongside the greatest artists that have ever lived... it’s always something wildly surprising, even for Cowart himself. “I don’t set goals or plan ahead and money never motivates me. It’s always about the idea, always has been and always will be. Some of the ideas fail miserably but the lessons learned are invaluable so I immediately go chase the next one.
All of these mediums recently came together when Jeremy released his first NFT series called "Block Queens", which combines his paintings, portraits and drawings together as fully interactive NFTs. The body of 999 NFTs sold out in seconds in February of 2022.
