Triggers - Episode #31
04/25/22 • 10 min
While on task for the Lord, there may arise situations or people that may try to derail us. Triggers threaten to do this.
In essence, triggers are responses we develop during traumatic periods that benefit us, but later linger even when the threat is no longer real. Something in our environment sparks a response in us that is no longer helpful.
I have no pat answers for you as a cure, but I will always point you to the one who is the answer - Jesus.
As we draw near to Him, He draws near to us. Join us to discover how staying connected to him can lead to confidence to continue our great works.
Bible verses referred to in this episode:
1 Chronicles 16:11
Psalm 1:3
John 15:5
Nehemiah 6:3
James 4:8
