Red Scare Theatre Company presents a five part audio drama experience. Apocalypse Songs follows a local radio station reporter Amy Louise Chen investigating the tapes of Clara Wilson, an obscure 1960s musician whose cryptic lyrics seem to have predicted the future. This show had me enraptured, and it finally broke the seal on my sister listening to audiodrama, so it’s got a special place in my heart. The small episodes in between are so haunting and intriguing and the way the story builds is wondrous, I think the finale was the exact way it needed to be: perfect.
