Why did you start this show?

To be able to talk about something that we love while trying to convince others to start watching anime and if they’re already watching, to keep that fire going!

What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?

We love when people enjoy our show! Whether it’s our more serious episodes or the ones that we can’t stop laughing. We usually tend to keep it lighthearted and funny that way maybe we can make a few people laugh!

Which episode should someone start with?

The best answer would be Episode 1! But also, episode 10 is really important because that’s where we split up our podcast and start doing 2 episodes weekly! The Degen Episodes aka the bullshit hour And the Weekly Rundown - where we just talk about the new episodes of 4-5 popular currently airing shows!

Which have been your favourite episodes so far?

One of the episodes I really enjoy is Degen episode 24. Where we talk about characters that are the epitome of black Air Force energy and also we get into the “Hall of Lame” But honestly I really enjoy any of our Anime Degen Episodes aka “The bullshit hour”.

Which episode are you most proud of?

I think our Showdown Throwdown segments are a really cool thing for us and for our listeners as well! We each pick a show that our cohosts haven’t seen and make them watch 3-5 episodes of it and then we talk about it and see if we liked it, etc. But honestly I’m proud of each and every episode we do! We try to put a lot of work into our episodes!

What is your favourite other podcast that isn't yours?

I enjoy a plethora of other podcasts! But if I had to pick a favorite it would be without a doubt dungeons and daddies! That has to be the best content I’ve ever listened to in podcast form. Kudos to them.

How did you come up with the name for your podcast?

We actually made a long list of potential names. Then us 3 hosts each picked our fave 3 names. Then we went through those 3 names and checked to see if anyone else had a podcast that had those names or even close to those names. Then we checked to see what google search for those names looked like. And it came down to a couple of options. The Mostly Filler Anime Pod or Anime Degens. And we all agreed on being the “Anime Degens” And honestly it fits us. We’re just Degens that watch anime.

So, we’re a podcast that focuses on Fun Anime Topics & Discussions! We do 2 episodes per week. The regular Anime Degens Episode & The Weekly Rundown Eps. The Anime Degens Ep is the bullshit hour! Where we talk about anything and everything anime. We try to come up with fun discussions / topics to discuss! We also do reviews and first looks on this Ep! The Weekly Rundown Ep consists of us talking about the newest Eps of 4-5 currently airing popular shows! One Piece is always included!
