Dr. Templeton, a professor of orthopedic surgery, is a leader in academic medicine and professional societies such as the American Medical Association and the American Medical Women's Association. She is also a powerful voice for diversity, inclusion and equity including for an aging workforce and the LGBTQ+ communities.

Necessity is the Mother of invention including gendered innovation. She not only designed her own surgical instruments, but also tools to address stress, burn-out and discrimination. Dr. Templeton doesn't just 'fix' bones, but what ails society.
