Introducing: Apollyon
11/27/24 • 36 min
Are you looking for a binge-able sci-fi show to listen to during your holiday travels, then I've got a treat for you.
It’s the 22nd century. The Apollyon virus has torn through the world and wiped out 75% of the population.
30 years after the first wave hit, most of the world is under one government: the International Conglomerate of Research Scientists, a group of politicians and scientists working to keep the world as safe as possible.
Drs. Theo Ramsey and Gabriel Larson work in the American ICRS headquarters in Atlanta. They have developed an effective vaccine for AVS, but the stakes to get the vaccine to the public are higher than either of them ever imagined.
In 2022, Apollyon was voted best sci-fi podcast at the Minnesota Webfest and best podcast at the Urban Media Makers Festival.
Two seasons plus two mini-series (Patient Zero and Chronicles) are available anywhere you get your podcasts. The third season is in pre-production and will be released in 2025.
If you enjoy movies like Contagion and Outbreak but need more humanity in your storytelling, Apollyon is for you.

Today, I want to share one of my personal favorites: Apollyon.
About Apollyon
It’s the 22nd century. The Apollyon virus has torn through the world and wiped out 75% of the population.

Apollyon was voted best sci-fi podcast at the Minnesota Webfest and best podcast at the Urban Media Makers Festival, both in 2022.
Two seasons plus two mini-series (Patient Zero & Chronicles) are available anywhere you get your podcasts. The third season is in pre-production and will be coming in 2025.
If you enjoy movies like Contagion and Outbreak but need a little more humanity in your storytelling, Apollyon is for you.

Introducing: I Need a Miracle
Today we bring you another audio drama to listen to while we work on season two of Alpha 8. And it’s perfect for the Holiday season. I Need a Miracle.
In this unique series, each episode unfolds like a prayer, revealing stories where some wishes are granted while others have the power to upend the world.
Each episode of I Need A Miracle is a monologue. A new character every episode. Never the same character twice. Always addressing a plea to a listening deity – which never makes a sound. Each episode, each prayer, is a single desperate moment of a life in another world. A world undeniably shaped by the divine. The voices we hear know an omnipotent being is listening. They know not all pleas are granted – but some are. And they believe in the benevolence of their god. Desperation and calculation, need and desire render each new character in vivid shades. And episode by episode, a miraculous yet tumultuous world is assembled in glimpses.
Here is the first episode of I Need a Miracle - A Dream Come True.
Happy listening!
