EP.13 | Our End Of Year Review Of our Allotments and the Podcast!
In our final episode of the year, we review our allotments, as well as our highs and lows. We also talk about the podcast and whether we'll continue it next year.

Also on this episode, we discuss how the 'jingle bell' sing-along came about and how amazing it has been. This episode was completed prior to the release of the jingle bell song, so the timing is slightly off because we planned to release this episode before the jingle bell song. If you haven't listened to it, then give it a listen (released on the 6th December).

As we approach the end of 2022, we wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Allotment Diaries Podcast - EP.41 | Special guest on the show (Noah, 6 years old)
play

05/29/24 • 22 min

While Amy was away, Chay had the pleasure of speaking with the show's youngest guest, his son Noah (6 years old), who discusses what it's like to be a little person in the world of allotments and what the next generation of allotment holders will look like.
In this world of information overload, opinions, and technological advancement, talking to a little person about what matters to them puts things in perspective and reminds us that the most basic things are often the most important.
Noah also teaches us a different way to embrace the slug infestation, suggesting that perhaps we should celebrate the presence of slugs rather than bemoan it. Easier said than done, but it makes it a little less painful when your lettuce and plants have been decimated by slugs.
