Pr Bob Bolst and I spent some time this week speaking about how “we cannot share what we do not have”. God waits to fill our hearts and is willing to give us inspiration and power to share the light of Christ. I was thoroughly inspired by the thoughts we got to discuss in this episode. Preparing ourselves for evangelism is all about waiting on the Lord and not running ahead of angels. Inviting friends to Church can be dicey for some of us but for others can be as easy as a walk in the park. I got a chance to sit down with the prettiest lady in the NNSW Conference, Sherise Parra, who is a real pro at inviting friends to Church. After Jesus was resurrected from the dead He revealed Himself to two of His disciples (Luke 24) who were traveling on the road to Emmaus. He did this by giving them a Bible study. Now He might have performed a miracle or shinned like the sun but He thought it was important to have them base their faith on the sure foundation of the Word of God. God is calling us to share Christ through His Word.
