Folks... we've done it. This episode is a big deal not only because of the episode number, but also because Kathy aka Girl K joins us to talk about Strange Mercy by St Vincent. We'll sip on "Death In The Afternoon" cocktails, bond over being former choir kids, and delve into the weirdly specific world of patron saints.
Check out Girl K on Instagram and listen to ALL their tunes here.

We'll gush over cover songs from various decades, parse out lyrics intentionally obfuscated by Google Translate, and sip on Brooklyn Lager by Brooklyn Brewing. Cyndi is, of course, a NYC girly.

If it ain't baroque, don't fix it! (Ba dum tssss) Join us and David from Chicago pop/rock project Troigo as we dive into the impressive PATD debut album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, which perhaps exists thanks to momager Pete Wentz?? We'll sip on VERY delicious peach and lime daiquiris, the kind you may find in a seedy burlesque club shrouded in cigarette smoke... get your black slacks with accentuating off-white pinstripes ready for this one.

Yep, you read that right. Did you know Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson had a brief stint as a pop artist back in 2005? We're diving in with friend of the pod Jacob Pierce, who is also The Bard from real-play DnD podcast Guard The Bard. We'll talk about how much gym class sucks, fawn over Wayne Brady, and dive into the highly-popular Barbie animated film series. This one is a HOOT and gets especially silly near the end as we have a couple of Seagram's Escapes wine coolers.
Listen to Guard The Bard here.

Three babies with microphones walk into a hard kombucha pop-up space... Somehow, they come out with a live podcast show...
Listen as Sarah, Zac, and Dillon each choose a cover song from the Metallica Blacklist album and try their hardest to convince the audience why their song is the best. Who will win? Weezer, St. Vincent, or Darius Rucker? You'll hear the audience vote at the end of the show. We'll also talk about Danny DeVito's limoncello brand, revive The Tracklist Game, and only a couple of YouTube ads play on accident. We were so stoked to have a sold-out first-ever live show, thanks to all who came out!
HUGE thank you to Luna Bay for hosting us at Boochquarters in the West Loop! You can learn more about their tasty hard kombucha and pop-up space here.

We've already done a Valentine's episode for Haters, so this week, we're feeling the love! Join us as Sarah's new brother-in-law Xander talks us through all the mushy gushy goodness of A Song for You by the Carpenters while sipping Sarah's mom's Old Fashioned recipe. (We promise you haven't had an Old Fashioned like this before unless you're from Wisconsin) We'll also put our love radars to the test and decipher the differences between contemporary Christian music and love songs. It's like an auditory romantic candlelight dinner, bon appetit. <3
