Luna is 18 years old, she was born with albinism and lives in the Netherlands. She is a fanatic goalball player. This is a paralympic sport and a perfect sport for people who are blind or visually impaired. Luna is also a musician, she plays the piano in a band. She attended regular education and found her way to deal with being visually impaired although she did experience problems at school and with finding an internship. Latifa was born with albinism in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). When she was very young she moved to the Netherlands. Latifa is now 21 years old and plays the main character in the movie 'White Berry' about Grace, a Dutch-African girl with albinism from Burundi who fled her country with her mother and brother because of her albinism. Grace feels different and left out due to her whiter skin and bad sight. She meets Kia and her African identity becomes more important and she wants to become part of the group. Nan has a sibling with albinism which made it easier to accept this condition and Nan actually enjoys being different in various ways.
