On this episode of You vs. You I give you a little insight into my life. I'm giving you a perspective of someone that came from a place of little self love or confidence in the most vulnerable years of my life which were 18 to early 20's to now finally be able to say I love me some me at 31. Today I'm in such a different place, and have learned how to deal and cope with certain parts of my life I never thought I would. I'm for real when I say for a good ten years of my life... Yes TEN YEARS.... I did not fully value or love myself. Finally I have arrived at the fact that I am enough, and I am worthy. This advise is for people possibly going through similar situations. I pray you find the peace you are looking for. Looking for it inside of people who need to still work on themselves is not it either. At the end of the day love yourself, cherish yourself, and value yourself. Set as many boundaries as you need to to keep your peace. Start today though. The days aren't coming back.

It's never too late either to change up, and reroute yourself to something more aligning to what it is you want in life. We also discuss the hate that comes from becoming successful and living life your way. Not everyone is happy to see you happy. You will hear ways that these ladies have overcome some negative hatred all while they grow and learn to love themselves more and more. Which is something everyone should strive for in life.

Episode 4: Putting the Bottle Down

On this episode I speak about the struggles with alcohol addiction that I have struggled with over the years. Drinking has just became so much of my life that I forgot what it was like before hand. All the things that drinking has actually taken from me rather than given me. Let's be real more negative things have happened to you while drinking than it did when you weren't. It's a tough pill to swallow realizing you have an issue with alcohol, but is also needed in order to grow. At least for me it is. Kudos to you if you are one of those who can just have 1 or 2, but that is not me. Part 2 is coming on this, but here is Part 1 to start out. This is a new journey for me as the longest I have ever been without alcohol in my years of drinking was when I was pregnant, and after having my child. Also a short stint of 67 days starting back in November of last year. Alcoholism is a disease, and it is ok to admit if you have a problem with it. After all you are human.
