Healy is former president of Macra and the Irish Farmers’ Association and was the first vice-president of Copa, the European farmers’ organisation. Currently, he is chair of ‘Cultivate’ (Credit Unions agri-finance).

He explained that the regulator’s office cannot get involved in price, but can take action for Unfair Trading Practices (UTP).
