Five years old Cancer and the AFL

Alex Garner's beautiful little boy was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer at 17 months old. He was not expected to make it to 5, but he is here and now the family is wanting to do more. In Agape, unconditional love they are stepping over their own pain to help others going through similar circumstances. The dream is to have the AFL come on board and help them to make a difference.

Manuela Whitford founder and CEO of Friends with Dignity. Friends with dignity is a volunteer-based not-for-profit registered charity that provides practical programs to assist survivors of domestic violence in collaboration with refuge and crisis centers. They offer setting up homes for those escaping domestic violence and making a new start, scholarship programs for kids returning to school, and safety devices for people at risk of harm.
