Adventures in Kakeland (cakeland) is a podcast about running a side hustle cake business. My business is called Kake and Cupkakery and l am sharing my experience of all the challenges I’ve faced of running a cake business to help you run yours.
I also interview other cake makers, cake artist and small business owners who are doing amazing things within their space.
Authentic and vulnerable conversations as well as laughs and sharing honest experiences of life in the cake world.

Limiting my weekly orders, and also how i wanted to save my customers and me time with the ordering process so introduced a couple methods to keep the process quick and smooth. I also speak about the mistakes I've made and changes I've made so they do not happen

I came across Natasha via Instagram and instantly loved her energy. She is a cake coach, mentor, with her group called the the baker squad, cake business owner and innovator with a new app she has created called the bake-ulator, Its an app that has been created to help bakers with the issue of pricing cakes to make a profit.
We discuss her journey to where she is today and why she wanted to create an app.

My first ever guest on the adventures in kakeland podcast is Lauren Smy. I know Lauren through a couple of facebook groups that we were in and she has now created her own free facebook and memberships groups.

Lauren runs two businesses, The honey bee cake company (wedding cakes) and Lauren grace consulting.
Her aim is to help cake business owners make the transition into the lucrative wedding cake market as well as help to "boost their business potential" with running a cake business.
