Accent Over Me

I'm always looking for ways to get rid of my thick accent. Not because I think it's horrible, but, as I always say, an accent is not that cute if you can't be understood. Doing some research on the internet, I found some tips from native speakers that can improve the way we speak, letting us more fluent as second language learners, and I figure out even a way that science can explain why we speak the way we speak. English has a lot of words with double letters and when you wanna use gerunds or superlatives it becomes worse. But do you know when you double the letter when you add some ing on it?
