It was a week full of surprises in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Multiple doors opened and others closed. Jim and Will talk about the well-planned departure of Notre Dame icon Muffet McGraw. Then, they run down the latest on conference football players headed to the NFL. Plus, we discuss the changes in Wake Forest's men's basketball program. What appears to have been one of the best executed changeovers in head coaches took place right in front of our faces. Amazingly it was without us knowing about it. The word is that Muffet McGraw plays a mean game of 3-D chess. If you don't believe it look at the way her retirement was handled. We tip our hat to a special coach who made a big impact on the sports world. Sports starved fans helped knock the NFL Draft ratings out of the park. The guys copped to snoozing through parts of it during Round 1. They offer up suggestions on keeping the process moving. We take a look at the players from ACC Nation that were picked in Rounds 1-7. Then, the Undrafted Free Agents (UDFA) that have been signed (Sunday, April 26, 2020) so far. Doors In addition to running down the numbers the guys share thoughts on the players. We take a look at the teams to which they are headed. Then we toss in who they think should have been picked sooner. As doors open for football players another closes for Danny Manning at Wake Forest. With seemingly no break on the horizon the school decided to part ways and announced their decision on Saturday. We discuss a list offered up by Conor O'Neill of the Winston-Salem Journal and encourage those interested in a career as a consultant to go for it. And a bonus pick that would be intriguing.
