This changed the game for me, and how I look at morning routines ☕️

...... but before I knew this, I was this person.

  • Sets alarm for 4:45am every week night
  • Books a high intensity gym class for 5:15am every morning
  • For one to two weeks, springs out of bed, makes the gym class, smashes the gym class, comes home to meditate, journal and drink s smoothie. Feels so energised, motivated and convinced that my relationship with my morning will be this forever.
  • Two weeks later, alarm goes off, cannot keep eyes open, snoozes alarm, misses gym class, wakes at 7am wondering why im so tired this week. Feels guilty, lazy, inconsistent and pissed off at self because ‘a structured, must do all the things’ morning routine is the key to my success.

HA! 😆

If you’re at that stage, stay with me.

You will not, and I repeat, WILL NOT, feel like getting up at the same time, doing the same routine every single morning.

You are not lazy, inconsistent or “not a morning person”.

Instead, you are a woman with a body that, each month (typically), goes through a cycle that makes us the most powerful and dynamic gender on this planet 🙃✌🏻

So my one word for you when it comes to your morning routine is this:

✨ALIGNMENT

Forget what a morning routine ‘should’ look like based on what you see on social media, and curate one that makes you feel good, honouring yourself and where you are at on that beautiful, life-forming rollercoaster.

This means, somedays you will be superwoman doing ALL THE THINGS. And other mornings, you will want to do the bare minimum.

It’s actually pretty cool once you tune into it and enjoy the ride 🎢🔥
