Orest Zub is a well known Ukrainian traveler, blogger and online entrepreneur who has visited 120+ countries and built a worldwide audience as a true digital nomad. However when Russia invaded Ukraine, Orest came back home and decided to put his skillset to use for the greater good of his country. His new mission is to spread the word about the events in Ukraine from a local perspective and ensure the world remains aware that real people are living through one of the greatest military invasions in recent history, right here in Europe. Orest walks us through his personal story, the current state of the day to day in Ukraine, and some of the historical context about Ukraine and their relationship with Russia.

According to Orest, every Ukrainian he knows is doing something to support their country right now, and as mainstream media is starting to look elsewhere for new headlines, this is how he is doing his part. Listen, share, and support by keeping Ukraine at the forefront of the world’s attention.

About Abroad takes its first trip to India in this interview with Mayur, the founder of NomadGao. After spending nearly his entire life in a small Indian village dreaming of traveling the world, Mayur finally got a taste of the digital nomad world in 2014, and never looked back. After traveling around the world he returned to India to focus on building communities and introducing his people to the opportunities provided by digital nomadism. He’s now founded multiple coliving and retreat centers which cater to remote workers from across India and the rest of the world, and today he takes us inside life in India - specifically in the tropical paradise of Goa, where he’s currently living his dream. Note - the audio in this interview experienced technical difficulties which we were unable to completely fix. Please excuse these few areas, we wanted to bring you Mayur’s story nonetheless!
