Abide Christian Meditation - Beatitudes: Blessed Are the Merciful

Beatitudes: Blessed Are the Merciful

05/27/20 • 15 min

Abide Christian Meditation
Do you struggle to offer mercy to those who you feel do not deserve it? After all, it’s easy to receive mercy from someone else, but it can be far more difficult to offer it to others.
Today, we will seek wisdom from the Lord Jesus, as He sat on the mountainside before the multitudes and offered blessings in the form of beatitudes, "Blessed are the Merciful."

We Grieve, But We Have Hope in Christ

Because of Christ, we have hope that death is not the end. Our hope is not dreamy, wishful thinking -- it’s not about some imaginary, pastel-colored future with harps and clouds. Our hope is a confident assurance, based on the death and resurrection of Jesus, that although death is the final enemy, death is not the end. Breathe in that truth.
