On November 15th, 1966 two couples were driving near the McClintic Wildlife Management Area outside of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, when on the side of the road they saw a large grey creature with huge glowing eyes. Terrified, they quickly sped away, but much to their horror, they saw the creature in the air chasing them. That creature would later be known as the Mothman.

There’s a legend out of Indonesia that a race of small human-like creatures once inhabited the Island of Flores. It is said that they were no more than a meter tall, had ears that stuck out from their heads, almost like an elf or leprechaun. They were incredibly fast, very nimble, and great hunters. In fact, they would hunt the local fauna of the island, miniature elephants and dragons that spit poison.
