Offside -India's Football Future

A country with 1.4 billion people, 60% of which are below the age of 30, fails to produce 11 players who qualify for a World Cup play offs, for the last 50 years or more. Sadly, it is the "football"reality of our country. Yet when you step out, there are flags of Germany, Argentina, Brazil fluttering across popular malls and shopping outlets. There is world cup fever all around. So you wonder, with so much fan following why is the country unable to produce top quality football?
