A Whole Lotta Shift
02/20/23 • 18 min
In the debut episode, our host, Jen Ingram shares how she was tired of living a life filled with all the "supposed tos" and "shoulds" that come with societal standards, and checking all the "boxes" of life, such as school, career, marriage, and children. She realized that this path was not bringing her joy or fulfillment, and wanted to create a life that was true to who she is. Hence A Whole Lotta Shift came into being and Jen, along with her guests, want to inspire and motivate listeners to become the best versions of themselves, as well as provide education on how to take the next steps in their business journeys.
“If you're needing some kind of permission slip or ticket to do something in your own way, and to tell all the other gurus out there to take a hike because you know how to roll up your sleeves and figure shit out for yourself because you know who you are [then] this is your permission slip to do just that.” - Jen

A Business Simplified: Creating a Business With Ease
A Whole Lotta Shift
05/03/23 • 46 min
Suzy Wraines is an entrepreneur coach, who is simplifying the starting a business process. Suzy herself made the transition from Army medic, and for her, the hardest part of starting her new business was just starting. She is now helping women shift from the medical field to having a successful online business, using her Simplified Process business plan. Suzy’s advice is to journal or write down what you have in your head about your business and take messy action.
About the Guest:
I’m Suzy Wraines, as an Entrepreneur Coach, I have dedicated my career to helping women transition from a medical career to starting a successful online business. With over 10 years of experience in both human and veterinary medicine, I understand the challenges that come with leaving a healthcare profession and entering the entrepreneurial world.
Additionally, I have over 20 years of combined experience in corporate business, which has given me a deep understanding of business operations and strategy. By leveraging my expertise in both fields, I am able to provide a unique perspective and approach to coaching women health professionals in starting their own businesses.
I love the outdoors. My husband and I hike with our two dogs as much as we can. My love for animals brought me to work in veterinary medicine after leaving the Army.

Retreat Reflection: Embracing Opportunities and Flexibility
A Whole Lotta Shift
05/11/23 • 31 min
This is part 1 of a mini-series I’m doing on retreats. This episode kicks off the series with my reflections on the freedom and adventure retreat in the Outer Banks that I just returned from last week. I share details about the retreat and what my experience was like. But most importantly, I share all the reflections and insights I had from snagging an unexpected opportunity to teach and coach during the retreat. There is nothing more powerful than putting yourself in the room for opportunities to happen, making the decision to ask for what you really want, and then showing up fully to receive it.

A Whole Lotta Shift
02/21/24 • 36 min
Episode Summary
In this episode of 'A Whole Lot of Shift', host Jen Ingram discusses the importance of recognizing who you are and who you are not in building a business. She criticizes the use of personality tests and theories like Myers Briggs, Enneagram, and Human Design in determining how to run businesses or live life. Instead, she advocates for individuals to stop living by someone else's standards and to live life on their terms, and in line with their true selves.
Jen shares an anecdote about her guest appearance on another podcast where this topic came up, as well as her experience with a coach deeply into human design. She believes that recognizing individuality and authenticity are key in successful business growth, and dismisses the notion of one's life fitting into theoretical boxes.
