Kyun Ae Khayal-e-Yaar Kya Tujhe Khabar Nahin | Urdu/Hindi |

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen, I hope all of you are doing great, I know its been sometime that there was an episode of A Talks: Poetry, but trust me, life just keeps you busy in so many ways that you have to compromise on some things, which is absolutely unfortunate, but as they say..better late than never, so here is me reading a poetry by Bekhud Mohani titled..Kyun Ae Khayal-e-Yaar Kya Tujhe Khabar Nahin, this is a beautiful piece wherein the love, the longing and the determination to meet someone we love is very strongly presesnted, its a piece which is not a usual small rhyming arrangement but it is on somewhat different lines. This coupled with a new microphone constitutes today's episode, which I sincerely hope you'll will find of some interest. I know people who don't understand Urdu/Hindi will not be able to enjoy the words but they can still hear the feelings, the emotions which the writer puts forth, very soon I think I will be including some Hindi & English poetry in this podcast as well, Hoping this finds you in the best of spirits, here's me wishing you that may you be the best version of yourselves forever.

Do Tune In!

S01E07 Krishna Ki Chetavani | Krishna's Warning | Hindi |

Hello & welcome to today's episode of A Talks: Poetry! As you all have been aware that since this podcast started I have been reading some really touching and beautiful poetry which I wanted to share with you guys and so I did, but a few days ago I had this idea were I wanted to share some Hindi poetry with you guys as well, coz why not! Hindi poetry has some really great gems that must be read and shared with the world, so following that concept, beginning today, in a 10 episode series of this podcast I shall bring to you some beautifully written Hindi Poetry by some stalwarts of Hindi Poetry. Today I begin by reciting a poem by India's National Poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, this poem is called "Krishna Ki Chetavani" which translates to "Krishna's Warning" and is based on an episode of the epic Mahabharata where Lord Krishna visits Hastinapur, the capital city of the kauravas, with a peace proposal so that the great war could be averted, but is eventually refuted by Prince Duryodhana's arrogance and adamant behaviour, so much so that he tries to capture the supreme personality of godhead himself in response to which the lord then decides to show Duryodhana what he is capable of and even predicting his and his kin's complete destruction. So let's embark on this new journey together and let's experience some great works of poetry in Hindi, beginning with this masterpiece itself!
