Her family recalls that this just wasn’t like her, to leave and stay gone without calling or talking to family first. Meanwhile, a monster was callously and quietly lurking in a neighborhood that was trusting and safe, terrorizing the family with notes handwritten in crayon. This case was known by many as “the girl who was almost forgotten” as it took 30 years for this cold case to be solved.
