#4 The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year is a song from Andy Williams way back in the 50s or 60s, more recently it was covered by Kylie Minogue. It's a well known Christmas song and a perfect reference for all Direct Sellers at this time. Halloween is behind us and people are starting to look towards Christmas and all the festivities. This is a wonderful opportunity to improve your Business in three ways. 1. Retailing gets a huge boost during this period and you can increase your turnover by either retailing seasonal items or creating gift sets etc for your customers. It's also a great time to grow your Team as many will be looking for ways to earn some extra money to use for Christmas. Many distributors hit new pin levels as a result. 2. It's a great time to reflect on how you've done over the last 10 months, or less depending on when you started, and what tweaks you could do to improve over the next couple of months. However beating yourself up for any failures is a waste of time and only adds to the de-motivation. Use those failures as stepping stones, as experiences to build upon, over the coming months. 3. This is the best time to plan and set your goals for the new year. No point in waiting until 1st Jan as by the time you get up and start doing stuff, it could be February or March before you see any results. Also, if you have a Team, work closely with them on their Goals and Dreams. Don't see them as routes just for your own success, help them achieve what they want and you'll get what you want, as Zig Ziglar would say.
