Welcome to A Juicy Pear Podcast! This is our very first show, and we are so excited to share it with the world! In this episode, Shawn interviews me about how my first book,
'A Grey Resort', came into being. Set in the small northern town in WI where I grew up, I drew upon my experiences growing up on a lakeside resort in the 70's & 80's. One summer evening, a girl decides to go fishing, and what she sees next changes the course of her life forever.
I had so much fun writing this book, and it brought back so many fond memories of growing up on the water. Becoming an author has been a lifelong dream of mine, and my life has changed because of it. There has been plenty of ups and downs for sure, but there's no denying those magical moments as well. I look forward to getting my second book out into the world, release date to be announced.

Here we talk about what we did with our families growing up around the holidays, food we ate, special traditions, things that are important to us. This was fun going down memory lane and recalling the special moments of our childhood.
