In these turbulent times, the police continue to use excessive force against citizens, some resulting in deaths. The purpose of the podcast is to inform listeners of the severity of some of these cases and to hopefully create a movement where police no longer use excessive force and to advocate for positive reform within police departments across the country.

Douglas Zerby was intoxicated and decided to walk to a friend's house instead of drive. His friend was not home so he waited on the top step of the porch and fidgeted with a garden hose nozzle. A nearby neighbor saw Douglas and believed he was holding a gun and called in to report him. When police arrived, they watched him and then shot him to death.

On April 9, 2021, a Delta County deputy tried to pull Paige Schmidt Pierce over for a missing license plate. What should have been a normal traffic stop ended in tragedy.
