I wish my parents would have taught me more about finances.
My dream is to own a home but seems like an impossible reality to have. What is the truth to downpayment, loans, interest rates, and housing prices. It seems too overwhelming to even approach. Thats why I want to share with you what this all looks like for me.
What does investing for a beginner look like
What does approaching home ownership look like
What does eliminating debt look like
What does budgeting look like
What does putting your money to work look like
Next week I will share what is spicing up my marriage right now!

Hey my hardworking mamas!
Are you like me and constantly struggling with racing thoughts because of your mile-long to-do list, struggling relationships, or caught up in all the things that go into creating a business?
I know it's not easy and it makes you feel like you're going insane!
This happens to me quite often and i get so caught up in it that i forget the tools i have that help me deal with this issue.
In this episode we will dive into the power journaling has in quieting the mind. Let's get it out of our heads and on paper so we can better see what we need to do to reach a solution.
Yeaah, sometimes it's that simple.
One of my favorite things to remind myself too is the serenity prayer- "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."

Do you feel guilty that your partner is out there working two jobs to pay the bills while you get to be home?
Why.. why do we believe these narratives when we know they aren't true.
Do me a favor, stop the guilt. It is not serving you any good or your family.
Do you get a break, I can imagine you don't. But if you do good for you. We need to learn to vocalize our needs to our partners before it eats away at us and our relationships.
Being a stay-at-home mom is the equivalent of working a 98 work week so unless your partner is working 99 hours lets stop believing the lies we are fed through todays culture.

Trust me, you are not alone!
Let me remind you, whatever it is that you are not feeling supported in is probably because
1. it is not something that interests the people that are close to you
2. they are too busy and wrapped up in their own lives
3. maybe they forgot or don't even know what it is we want/need support in
When I get down that the people closest to me are the ones that aren't supporting me I repeat this to myself "what if you didn't take it personal!"
Repeating that to myself makes me feel better right away. We are all busy. We are also probably not supporting someone that is expecting us to be there as well.
What we can do is tell ourselves this sweet reminder "do not take it personal," show support to others, and surround ourselves with people that have similar businesses or problems that can relate to us!
We can also the conversation up to the people we love. you might be surprised that they have been needing the same support!
Love you mamas!

Why does it feel like I am the only mom that has this issue? I have never heard another mother speak on this topic of financial dependency and that has made me feel very torn and like I am the only stahm that has a husband earning just enough to support us.
This has lead to me questioning our decision to stay home with the kids and is it selfish to have my husband working so hard while I am 'just home.'
But then being "just home" seems to me that it can easily be more exhausting than working a job, or two even. Because as a stay-at-home mom, we clean, do laundry, cook, care for our kids, manage finances, do grocery shopping, plan and prep for all events, and that is 7 jobs I just mentioned that people get hired and get paid to do.
I have struggled with my self-worth because I was stripped of my identity which I had created. I equated my self-worth with my accomplishments and income. But when I had my kids all of that went away along with my self-worth which caused me to constantly question myself as a mom, wife, and entrepreneur.
I don't want the same for you. We are worth so much, we do so much, and we are so amazing yet we feel so belittled because of our role as a stay-at-home moms and I'm tired of sticking to that narrative.
I am here to acknowledge you, other mamas. I want to love and support you through this, so thanks for joining me in Today's conversation!

After a year hiatus, I am attempting to be back. Why because I want to capture the reality behind an entrepreneurs journey.
We mostly think success happens overnight because everyone loves to like the glitz and glam but what about the unseen majority of us that are struggling. Struggling with balancing work life balance, the failures/lessons, the loss of income, the risk, and the loss of friends/social life/ and dreams.
I am back and promise to show up. It won't be easy but it will be a sacrifice I am willing to make if I want this to work! So connect with me and prove to me that this is worth it!
