Podcast Q&A
Why did you start this show?
The old-time radio online stations and podcasts I saw in 2009 played a lot of different episodes from different detective programs. I decided it'd be a great idea to have a daily podcast that would go through old time radio detective series from their first available episode to the final bow with each series having its own style to appeal as many fans of old school detective dramas as possible.
What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?
Listenters enjoy a fun experience with great golden-age radio detective stories. In addition, they get my commentary which I try to make fun and informative. And I try to make the podcast interactive by responding to listeners' comments and feedback.
Which episode should someone start with?
You can start with any episode, really. Nearly every series we play is self-contained. So without reading of Wiki of continuity, you can pick up most episodes of any series and listen to it with the exception of a few serialized stories, but those are usually marked with Parts One and Two.
