Host Darren Sheppard also speaks to Colton Firmage and Jade Burton, two young entrepreneurs of "Berries and Beads", who call Greenspond home, and who share their thoughts on what it is like to be a kid from the island. Host Darren Sheppard chats with Ashley Noseworthy, CEO/President of Edgewise Environmental. It is a St. John's based environmental consultancy focused on marine mammal, seabird, and marine noise mitigation solutions. Ashley has a background working with marine mammals and has worked in various positions offshore and throughout the world. She recently trained Indian Bay Ecosystem Corporation personnel on various seabird protocols to be utilized in our Leach's Storm-Petrel study in Cape Freels, and she took the time after this training to appear on 709 Watershed.
