House of X - why aren't you reading this?

House of X is Marvel's latest X-MEN blockbuster and it is a love song to X-Men lore. More importantly it is shaping up to be another classic arc that should be talked about for a while. But people aren't talking about it enough and since I'm going to pick up issues of it myself this weekend I'm going to explain why you might want to consider doing the same. Spoiler alert.
