Letting go of past relationship baggage is a huge part of learning how to date well in the future. I learn this lesson daily. Even if we don't wan to admit it, we can sometimes slip and let our issues of a former flame creep into our current dating life. For example, if your ex often flaked on dates, it can be hard to trust that the next person won't flake...even if they've never shown signs of flaking. That is what relationship baggage is and we've got to let it go. It's the only way to get a better relationship in the future. In this episode, I give tips on how to let go of relationship baggage and live better for you and your dating future.

Don't you wish you knew what you know now when you were younger? Here are some of the biggest things I wish I knew at 28 that I now know at 38. I talk about egg freezing as a fertility option that is a great option the earlier you consider it. Why didn't I know this at 28? I also talk about dealbreakers in relationships, what they were for me and what to look out for early on. Then we discuss defining the relationship -- yes, it's a thing. And yes, if you want to date seriously, it should be done...but don't miss the subtle signs from your partner when you do this. Last, we have to talk about big decisions - specifically, moving in together. How do you know if it's the right move? What's the risk? I give you the things to be sure of before you move in with your mate to avoid making the wrong decision.

I have absolutely no regrets, and I'm having the time of my life right now, but there are things I learned along the way that I hope will help you in the dating game.

But what if you don't know WHEN you want to have kids or IF you want to have kids, but you're not sure you DON'T want to either? Welcome to my egg freezing process. I'm doing it. And here's what it's like. Ask me questions if you have them. It's been an interesting ride and I've learned a lot about myself along the way.
