In celebration of LGBT+ History Month, this episode we chat to alum Dr Chelvan; a barrister specialising in the claims of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or intersex (LGBTI) asylum seekers fleeing homophobic or transphobic persecution.
He was named Legal Aid Barrister of the Year 2014, in recognition of his ground-breaking work in gay asylum claims and his national and international reputation in asylum law.
