Bowfishing Camp 2021 was a joint partnership with our friends at Liberty Baptist Church in Carnesville, Georgia the weekend of April 16-18, 2021.

Without their facility, staff and willingness to host four kids and their chaperones, this year’s Bowfishing Camp would not have taken place.

The following podcast was recorded during the Camp, and we didn't have the full picture of just what God was doing. Prior to this recording, the Gospel had been shared three times in the youth building at Liberty Baptist.

During one of the devotions, the Lord spoke to a young man named Ethan. The 12-year-old had some doubts. When he was a young boy, he “said a little prayer and even got baptized.” The Lord revealed to him during Bowfishing Camp that what he’d done years ago wasn’t a real decision to follow Jesus.

Ethan nailed down his salvation during Bowfishing Camp. In 10,000 years we'll see Ethan in Heaven and know that the openness from our friends at Liberty Baptist resulted in eternal life.

If your eternal security is not currently in Heaven, we ask that you consider giving your life to Jesus today. He says in John 14:6 that “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

30-30 Ministries - The Man Who Hated God, Alabama Bound, The Praying Wife
play

10/19/22 • 41 min

Before 30-30 Ministries' volunteer Tony Smith was saved, he confesses that he developed a hatred for God after the passing of his mother. Looking back at his story, Tony now saw how God continued to work in his life, despite the hatred. In addition, Tony said he was a terrible husband and father and that life was "all about me." Tony's passion for sports is what put him on the church grounds where he later gave his life to Jesus. Since then, Tony says life has never been the same.

Are you generous like Jesus?

It can be hard to share information when you’re on public hunting land. On this episode, one hunter shares where a hot gobbler is talking in the afternoon. Wow, what a picture of generosity!

We’re in John 15:9-10, as we talk about the second greatest commandment, “Loving others as yourself.”

We also welcome a very special young lady, Miss Palmer Kate Dyer, to the 30-30 Ministries’ family.

If your eternal security is not currently in Heaven, we ask that you consider giving your life to Jesus today. He says in John 14:6 that “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Some deer hunters believe that if they could just live in the Midwest around the world's best collection of giant whitetails that life would be much better for them. The reality is that the very same problems they have now would likely follow. After a few months in their new lives, they'd likely discover new problems they never had.

As Christians, we're promised eternal life in a perfect place with no problems called Heaven. We'll be there to worship, serve and reign with our Lord Jesus. It'll be a place of perfect harmony where all those who are righteous will care only about using their new and perfect bodies to glorify God.

Join us as we open God's Word to Revelation 21-22 and get a glimpse of our future Glory.

Even through dangerous careers in the military and law-enforcement, David Souderes did not fear death. However, his childhood memories of the Bible reminded him that one day he would stand guilty before God and have to give an account of his life. What an awesome testimony to kick-off Bowfishing Camp 2022.

For the first time ever, 30-30 Ministries held a Camp in Kansas. We joined with our new partners at Tyro Christian Church in Tyro, Kansas the weekend of March 6-8, 2020 and hosted seven boys and their parents. We enjoyed amazing hunting on private properties in Montgomery County. Members of Tyro Christian Church provided all the overnight accommodations and meals, and we ended our Rabbit Camp during the 11 a.m. Sunday service with the church congregation. During our four devotions with our rabbit campers, we did what we always do—whether in Georgia, South Africa or Kansas—we shared Jesus. On this episode, we talk to Ben Allen, the instrumental member of Tyro Christian Church who was led by God to approach the church staff and recommend a partnership with 30-30 Ministries. We're certainly thankful Ben was obedient in his calling. We also speak with Kyle Heady, a 15-year-old local boy who attended Rabbit Camp. For more on hunting rabbits with beagles, check out Sandy Creek Kennels in Buckhead, Georgia, Kane Kutter Kennels in Conyers, Georgia or Gary Potts in Versailles, Missouri.

For the first weekend of 2020, 30-30 Ministries celebrated with our partners in Lee County at the farm of Keith Kelly. This is a management hunt for does. Our three boys and one girl collected 12 deer, a new 30-30 Ministries deer hunting record. We also witnessed one young man shoot five deer, two with one shot! More ministry records smashed. Join us as we talk to our four youth campers and hear those exciting hunting stories. We also received some Biblical wisdom from 30-30 Ministries partner Terry Richardson, who is the current senior pastor at Centennial Baptist Church in Rutledge, Ga.
