2CGMH – Walk In Our Shoes: A Day In the Life of a Black Man - What is a typical day like for you? Does your day consist of working in a place where you know you are not valued, but you have to work there anyway? Do you feel uneasy when the topic of race and gender is brought up? When it is brought up, are you supposed to be the resident expert since you are the only one that can relate to the topic? For the majority of Blacks in America, that's a typical day.
Al, P-Wil, and WB take you into a deep conversation that touches on some of their experiences dealing with systemic racism. Systemic racism has plagued America for over 400 years and it's still plaguing us til this day. Hear how we dealt with it in the past and how we continue to deal with it on a day-to-day basis.
