Trading players between countries. The division realignments and a ton of other stuff. Some teams are still not cap compliant. What are the Lightning, Vegas etc going to do? 12^th June 2020 – This week Dan and Will talk about the Diversity Alliance. What it can hopefully accomplish and who is involved. Will it be able to hold the league to account? The NHL is also starting an inclusion council which sounds to us like it’s a bunch of white people telling players of colour what to do. We hold out hope though as it may have taken the league an age to catch up but at least it is on the way now. The league did however release a video of Tyler Seguin and his amazing social media interactions. I assume that’s what it was for because that’s how it came across. Could a Hart trophy winner be a goalie again? Probably not if your name is Connor Hellebuyck. Why? Because his name isn’t Carey Price or Dominik Hasek. In all seriousness though There hasn’t been a clearer Hart trophy winner in all senses of the award in a long time. His figures are insane. We talk about the confederate flag and why people care about it. Obviously we don’t know. A little tickle into NASCAR and why do people enjoy watching cars on a track? The Ottawa Senators foundation is no longer a part of the Ottawa Senators because of course it isn’t. This leads to speculation about vampires and paying off billion dollar court cases. Tyson Barrie was sick of all the short jokes and loads of other guff.

12^th Dec 2019 – Ep 94 – Sharks n Stars/Jason Paul – This week Dan and Will discuss the Russian ban and what their new name and flag should be when competing at events. Smooth recap. Winning the cup/Getting relegated. Starters and Scratches including Layla Anderson, car parking and The New Jersey Devils setting what must be a record. We interview Jason Paul of Wave Intel about starting something from scratch and balancing a new idea with family life. We also discuss his testicles. Check out his work @waveintel on twitter and the new player versus model. Then onto the news which started with the Board of governors meeting and Gary Bettman highlighting a four point plan of changes coming into the NHL. We look at those and how easy they will be to implement. 48 hours after Bettman announced there would be repercussions for teams who hid the truth two coaches were fired. Jim Montgomery in Dallas for non-hockey reasons and for reasons we still don’t know about and then Pete DeBoer in San Jose for purely hockey reasons and more than likely goaltending reasons. Nathan MacKinnon makes 200 good hockey men weep as he states he would take less money again. We wonder how much that is and how does he stack up compared to the rest of the league. NHL History girl joins us for the second part of our interview where we discuss among other things. The NHL progressing (lol), how she keeps up to date with all of her work and her favourite ever player. Then onto the news. Obviously we discuss Don Cherry and that whole thing. The reaction and what his co-host did. John Chayka has a new contract 18 months ahead of his other one running out. Jesse Puljujärvi and Ilya Kovalchuk are two wingers at a crossroads at different parts of their careers. Nick Foligno is suspended for three games. Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn need thick skin AGAIN.
