Happy Black History Month! We have a decent amount to talk about in this week's episode. Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and the gang are back with a farewell film in 'JACKASS FOREVER' (1:48). Roland Emmerich is also back with his latest big budget disaster film, dealing with space this time, in 'MOONFALL' (15:25). We also got the chance to check on some films on streaming. One movie that has been getting a ton of buzz in awardS land with 'CODA' (35:59) on Apple TV+, and another film dealing with some heavy subject matters starring Jenna Ortega on HBO MAX with 'THE FALLOUT' (52:08). On the TV side of things, Jordan got the chance to check out some documentaries dealing with some big name stars. The Lifetime documentary, 'JANET JACKSON.' (1:04:29), detailing her upbringing and career. And on showtime, the documentary 'WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT COSBY' (1:14:43), discussing not only why Bill Cosby was so successful but diving into his life as a sexual predator. In Desmund's latest journey revisiting a black TV show, he wrapped up watching the classic sitcom 'THE JAMIE FOXX SHOW' (1:21:29). We also had to take the time to discuss the last 2 episodes of "THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT' (1:26:00). The direction has changed and we need to figure out if it's working or alarming.

It's finally here! The heavily anticipated 30th feature film from Marvel Studios has arrived with "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever". It's been an emotional wait for this film but now that it has hit theaters it's time to get down to the nitty gritty and discuss any and all things surrounding this movie. We start off discussing the success and impact of the original "Black Panther" and how it came to be (2:04). We then talk about he hardship that this movie had to go through from the death of Chadwick Boseman, to the rewriting of the story, to the big question of if T'Challa should be recast, as well as the opening weekends box office numbers. As per usual we go into our nom-spoiler big picture thoughts on the film (25:57), and then make our way into the spoiler filled parts of the movie following our character by character breakdowns (43:10). This is a long one but it's been a special one for us, so we appreciate everyone for rocking with us the way you do, thank you for your ears. Wakanda Forever!

We're back!!! We took a small break but 2 Black Nerds has returned, and we're ramped up for a new season of nerdom. This week we're dropping three episodes, but in this first episode we'll be focusing on some really good television that we've gotten over these past few weeks. First we discuss the first three parts of the heavily anticipated series from Star Wars and Disney Plus, with Ewan McGregor returning as 'OBI-WAN KENOBI' (1:37). We then talk about one of Netflix's most binge-worthy and most precious series in 'STRANGER THINGS' Season 4 Vol. 1 (1:15:27). Jordan then spends sometime talking about the slightly overlooked but critically acclaimed show 'BETTER CALL SAUL' (1:48:18) in part one of its sixth and final season. And last but certainly not least, we spend some time talking about the first three episodes of season 3 of the amazing and ever-present show from Amazon Prime 'THE BOYS' (2:02:16). The show is still on its shenanigans in the best way possible and of course we had to discuss some of the notable events from the episodes we've gotten so far. Stick with us for another podcast this week reviewing the movies we've seen, plus the beginning of our weekly reviews for 'MS.MARVEL' as it premieres this week as well.
