10/10 You're Great
TTYG Media
Three passionate idiots Chris, Charlie and Lucas try the best they can to explain why their favorite albums are absolutely 10/10. Unlike what Radiohead said, the best they can is NOT good enough. PLUS: music news, concert reviews, et cetera, et cetera (second Radiohead reference for posterity). If something rocks, it WILL be on 10/10 You're Great and it WILL NOT be explained concisely.

Emovember: You're Gonna Miss It All
10/10 You're Great
11/16/24 • 95 min
On the third week of Emovember, my true love gave to me-- one BevCheck brewing, two singers feuding and a Chris who cannot let things be.
Also up for discussion: LOTS of toilet talk. We do not normally engage in such speak as we are a clean, professional, toddler-friendly podcast but this one got a little nasty and I would like to apologize on our behalf about that. Not NASTY nasty but you know, I just don't like talking toilet stuff I don't like thinking about it. When I see someone go into a toilet I assume the are not doing anything in there and then they just come out not having completed any kind of activities.

Abominable Autumn: Lullabies to Paralyze
10/10 You're Great
10/19/24 • 132 min
TONIGHT THIS WEEK TONIGHT -- The boys do Yet Another Memorable Episode where they talk the Kings (of Queens) of Rock (and Stone). These dudes invented hitting a rock against a twig to start a fire and you have to respect that because it led to our very cool current climate situation.
Also up for discussion: Chris' nightmares come true (wet edition) and a Chilean man hugs Charlie and later informs him he was in the band Queens of the Stone Age which complicates the episode. Pouring one out to Chris-- but in the house and making it soggier.

Frances the Mute
10/10 You're Great
03/15/25 • 116 min
This week-- We represent o sweet Paris with the Frenchest album yet -- France's the Mute. Sorry that doesn't really work but the idea there was that I typed this whole thing and almost posted it spelled "Francis the Mute" which is a better title, simple as. Frances is like the lady Francis right? Or is Francis not a name? We delve into that and it makes about as much sense as the rest of the lyrics on this album.
Also up for discussion: anise is a Foreign Flavour, 3 albums from 3 decades get 3 seconds of recognition from 3 guys (Interstella 3333), and much more I presume.

Sequel September: Bon Iver's Name is Justin
10/10 You're Great
09/14/24 • 155 min
TONIGHT THIS WEEK TONIGHT: We have another hot guest, Brian, and he is willing to stretch the limits of Sequel September to include side projects (the sequels of the heart) for a discussion of everything Bon Iver except the albums he did under that name.
Also up for discussion: The song of the summer must be decided by the Supreme Court who must be dismantled, four lads enter the Shouting Over Each Other Nation, and Mr. Monkey Wrench's wrench is speculated upon.

Sequel September: Burst Apart
10/10 You're Great
09/21/24 • 110 min
This week one of the hosts is totally absent and you have to assume it only made the pod better as the twost remaining lads discuss the Antler's underrated Burst Apart. Woe be to the man who has to follow up Hospice and yet here we are.
Also up for discussion: the P in P Diddy is for prison (sorry for making light of horrendous crimes) and the P in for Katy P is for Perry.

Songs from the Big Chair
10/10 You're Great
01/25/25 • 100 min
Tonight THIS WEEK Tonight, pretend we used the two photos of Chris to replicate the iconic cover of Tears for Fears' classic sophomore record, Songs from the Big Chair. I could easily have done that but instead I'm using this photo of the new neon from our studio in memorium, whose death you will hear roughly 50 minutes into the episode.
We hardly knew ye.

Hot August Bites: MM..FOOD
10/10 You're Great
08/03/24 • 122 min
On this week's 10/10 You're Great we talk hot cakes, hoe cakes, and the inevitable downfall of late stage capitalism (unrelated) by exploring MF DOOM's chompular snacktastrophe MM..FOOD. PR agencies please hire me I can invent embarrassing words.
Also up for discussion: A double BevCheck which comes with a hint of ketchup-smelling romance, Fred Durst promotes a limp dipshit (Drake) and oh yeah, the boys drive to ZooTown USA (CC: Montana) to do a thing they have done a fortnight of times for a Mason/Dixon themed venture out west slash showtime.

Abominable Autumn: John Carpenter Themes
10/10 You're Great
10/26/24 • 92 min
For the final and for real LAST WEEK OF HALLOWEEN TIMES we did the ultimate spooky guy thing and talked about John Carpenter and his music forever. We did not talk about Fear 3 because its a huge stinker and this is an anti-gamer podcast, but do not play it.
Also up for discussion: Everyone can do a voice but Charlie, a very tea-sty BevCheck, and lots of albums celebrate their birthdays which happens every week but hey, it also happens this one.

Abominable Autumn: Pretty Hate Machine
10/10 You're Great
10/05/24 • 101 min
It's that famous month: the one with Halloween in it. If you can find a name that doesn't include spooky (too obvious), haunted (ghosts are likely fake) or spoopy (the Hague awaits you) than we would love to hear it. Anyways the album is Pretty Hate Machine and per Lucas, we Pretty Much Hate Mixing Chris (who is too quiet and therefore we demand you pretend he is a ghost, haunting this episode.)
Also up for the afterlife is: Caribou's secret hit turns years old, and Chris goes absolutely nutmode w/r/t list documentation. If I was a paper demon I'd bury him in it in an ironic punishment.

Phoneacular Speaktacular 2: On The Road 1: New Orleans 0
10/10 You're Great
02/22/25 • 119 min
On a Very Special Episode of TTYG (or 11YG, for the Roman numeral enjoyers out there who think you can abbreviate 0s), these Three Wise Men journey to a place very much like Jerusalem: New Orleans, Louisiana. Album time haters rejoice as we regale you with tales of storm boot snoots, daiquiri attackquery, jambalaya jamming and perhaps even some voicemails.
Also up for discussion: How To Remix an Album, 69 love songs to sing to your child if they need to nap, and much more on America's first bicoastal all-Obamas podcast.
