The Bhagavatam's eighteen thousand verses contain hundreds of conversations between self-realized kings, yogis, and sages of the ancient world on the subject of how to achieve perfection in life, including descriptions of various incarnations and activities of Krishna—the Supreme Person—and His devotees throughout history.
It was compiled by Vyasadeva—editor of the Vedas—as his own commentary on Vedanta-sutra, the essence of all theistic knowledge. Be sure to listen to the end as there is a question and answer session which will provide additional insights.

Krsna, The Supreme Personality of Godhead tells the story of Krishna's life from Srimad-Bhagavatam, the summit of the ancient Vedas from India.

The stories develop from Krishna's birth to His childhood and youth. Krishna plays with His boyfriends in the forest while looking after the cows and calves and incidentally, He kills so many demons. On some full-moon nights, He dances with Radha and His beautiful girl friends, the gopis in the rasa lila.

Sri Brihad-bhagavatamrita is an epic work composed in Sanskrit during the sixteenth century by Sanatana Goswami, one of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's leading disciples. It is one of the first books written by any of the Six Goswamis of Vrindavan. In three volumes, it gives an easily readable account of two great spiritual quests. In one, the Vedic sage Narada searches throughout the universe for Krishna's greatest devotee. In the other, the cowherd boy Gopa Kumar searches for Krishna Himself—the Supreme Person, the ultimate goal of life.
