The name “This Golden Hour” has meaning. First, this name refers to the years parents have to raise and teach their children from birth to when they leave home to be on their own. As parents, we have a golden opportunity to teach and learn alongside our children during these formative and essential years of growth and development. Second, “This Golden Hour” points to this same period of childhood as the children’s chance to read, explore nature, and enjoy an inspiring atmosphere of family, love, and learning.

Please join me in embarking on the Harvard Classics Series by Dr. Charles Elliot. This series dates back to around 1910 and is a collection of literature that I believe needs to be revived and rediscovered. I look forward to reading and discussing all 50 volumes with you as we learn about the great ideas of those who came before us. In this series, we will dive into Greek and Roman history, the American Founders, works from Francis Bacon, John Milton, and many more. We will cover Shakespeare and Chaucer and also some fictional works like Don Quixote which are all included in the Harvard Classics.
We will also review other books on this podcast that fit the classical education theme.
This series is being created for those passionate about classical education and as a supplement to homeschool curriculums. I truly hope these classical works of literature bring you as much joy as they do me.
Feel free to reach out with any questions as I would love to hear from you!

Do you want to pursue the dream God placed on your heart and serve your family well?
It is possible!
Welcome to the Purposeful Impact podcast!
On this podcast, you’ll find permission to pursue your dreams your way, practical solutions to challenges you might face, and tips for becoming a more influential leader. (And yes, you are a leader!)
If you‘re ready to rediscover who you are, feel more fulfilled, and pursue your dreams as you care for your family, you‘re in the right place!
Hey, I‘m Crystal Wagner. I'm a life, leadership, and homeschool coach, and it's my mission to help women pursue their God-inspired dreams.
I know what it's like to want to use your gifts and talents in your home and beyond. If you're like me, you recognize your influence and impact on your children, but you also want to pursue a God-given dream and have an impact beyond your home too. As a coach, I help you rediscover and embrace who you are and clarify your vision so you can pursue your dreams while serving your family well.
When you live a life of purposeful impact, you will know who you are, what renews your energy, and what brings you joy. You can cultivate an atmosphere where your whole family can thrive, which will also help you juggle your many responsibilities and avoid burnout and an identity crisis when your children graduate. As you clarify your vision and live out your God-ordained dreams, you will feel more fulfilled and have a greater impact in your home and beyond.
Ready to pursue your dreams with confidence?
Here are three ways I can support you on your journey:
1. Subscribe to the podcast.
Subscribe in your favorite podcast app so you don't miss an episode. And I'd appreciate it if you would leave a rating and review to help others find the podcast! Thanks so much!

3. Engage me as a Life, Leadership, or Homeschool Coach. For a limited number of clients, I work one-on-one as a coach or with a group as a coach and facilitator.
