Have you felt it? Something is rippling through humanity at this moment. It's a stirring... a longing... a remembering. A sense that we are more capable than we’ve been led to believe. We want to feel alive, not sedated.. but we've lost our way. We've traded a life intertwined with nature for asphalt and artificial lights. We've swapped natural movement for a sedentary existence. We've given up food from the earth in favor of food from the factory. We've sacrificed our traditional skillsets for apps and gadgets. But while our overdose on modernity may have made us sick, there is an antidote. Join best-selling author and mentor, Jill Winger, each week as she digs into a different facet of the old-fashioned on purpose lifestyle.

This is the podcast where two 'kindred spirits' believe that the pursuit of happiness is the same thing as reading a good book and being able to talk about it!This is the 45-minute to an hour-long podcast show where the two hostesses will discuss...books! They will talk about what they have read recently, whether they have enjoyed those books or not, what they are currently reading, what they hope to get into next, and other hobbies such as knitting and crocheting! A little bit of "life" talk may pop in and out of these episodes, perhaps even a guest or two will appear, but whatever occurs Brooke and Becky can be counted on to discuss one subject for sure, making this show their "bookcast"!

If you’re a farmer, you know the joy of working the land: the cadence of the seasons, the understanding of the natural world, the tangible results of your hard work. But you probably also know how stressful it can be. From family and finance pressures, to isolation and an exhausting job that has no days off. In fact, agricultural workers experience suicide rates 50% higher than the national average, and that number is rising. On Cultivating Resilience from Cultivemos (FRSAN-NE), farm care starts with self-care. We’ll hear from real, independent farmers on the struggles they face every day, and how they are overcoming them. We’ll provide resources to strengthen your mental health and survive uncertain times. And we’re building a community where farmers and ranchers can support each other, because even the hardiest plants need the right conditions to grow. Together we’ll discuss the specific stresses that farmers face—things like family farm succession, economic burdens, and rural isolation. Follow the show wherever you get your podcasts, so you never miss an episode. And please, share the show with someone you think it may help.

Two friends, one farm dream. Wendy packed up her suburban Maryland home, two kids, two cats, and a dog and moved to a farm in rural North Carolina. Melissa, who's still back in Maryland, lives the farm life vicariously through Wendy while tending to her ever-expanding backyard garden. They catch up each week to discuss the latest adventures on her farm, Chutzpah Hollow, with occasional updates from Melissa's tiny oasis in the 'burbs. Why are we here? When Wendy decided to take that enormous leap to fulfill her dream of buying a farm, I wanted to make sure I could follow along every step of the way. This podcast is my opportunity to tag along while helping her document the ups, the downs, and the in-betweens.We are friends, working professionals, Jewish mothers, and total noobs. Neither of us have any experience farming or homesteading. We’re just two gals who love the natural world, and who seek a healthy and meaningful life for ourselves and our families. Some of you brave risk-takers will relate to Wendy. Others, like me, will listen from the sidelines and continue to fantasize about starting our own farm someday while growing whatever we can in our backyards, and trying our hands at living the homestead life in the ‘burbs. We hope you’ll join us on this adventure, either from the sidelines or while getting your own hands dirty.

I am a veterinary surgeon with a passion for communicating my love of my work through writing, radio, television and the internet. My mission is to use the media to act as an advocate on behalf of animals. I am a partner in a busy 4 vet practice in Bray, Co Wicklow, Ireland, but I spend 50% of my working week on media work. I've been broadcasting a weekly "vet spot" on my local radio station, East Coast FM, for the past fifteen years, and I'm delighted, through Soundcloud, to now make this weekly animal-related discussion available globally as a podcast.

We are Ben, Ted and Nog, three mates from Mid Wales bringing you a vaguely agricultural podcast in which we will give you light hearted views in and around the farming industry with great guests along the way! A lot of what we aim to do is around trying to keep peoples mental health somewhere near upright and hopefully we will put a smile on your face in what can be quite a lonely, isolated rural sector and instead you can reach out to us to escape. While we will be sharing our ups and downs from day to day life, we invite you to get involved and share your stories along the way! Welcome to EweTurn, we hope you stick around

Welcome to my new podcast - my name is Celia Gaze and I am the Founder of the multi-award winning The Wellbeing Farm Wedding & Events Venue based in Bolton, Lancashire (www.thewellbeingfarm.co.uk) and author of Why Put a Bow Tie on a LLama? I cover the story of how after having work-related stress I quit my job, got hold of a run down far and transformed it. In this podcast I describe my journey - I faced nearly every type of challenge, tribunals, court hearings, numerous staff and property issues, system problems and near bankruptcy and survived to tell the tale. I have learned that successful business ownership is a combination of mindset, business know-how and health and I have developed resilience, patience and learned to embrace failure for the lessons it carries. My book and this podcast describes my story and acts as a roadmap to help you and other people find their inspiration and live their dream life.
