A podcast about the IFB Cult as told by survivor Sadie Carpenter, with her co-host Gavri'el HaCohen. This podcast covers the IFB, the history of the Independent Fundamental Baptist movement, other cults, other religions, and the real and present threat that cults and cult ideologies pose to society as a whole. Our goal is to promote freedom of mind, freedom of thought, and freedom of religion.

General Content Warning: In general we talk about a lot of potentially triggering topics on this show, including but not limited to suicide and mental health, racism, misogyny, PTSD and PTSD symptoms, child abuse, mental, physical, and sexual abuse, and spiritual abuse including guilt, shame, and fear. In most episodes we’ll mention at least a few of these topics, but we try very hard to avoid graphic detail unless it’s relevant to the story we’re telling, and we do our best to give the audience a heads-up before going into detail on any of these topics.

Husband and Wife are two non-believers who have always wanted to read the Bible. Why would we subject ourselves to this you might ask? From our perspective it helps us understand where the Christians around us, here in the Midwest, are coming from when they quote the Bible at us. Husband is basically an Atheist and wife leans Agnostic but mostly Atheist and we’re just having some fun at the Bible’s expense while learning more about what our neighbors claim we’re going to hell over.

A Reconstructionist Podcast -Christian AF was born after a few long conversations over good beers, where we realized that life, and faith, aren't as simple as we grew up believing. We started wondering why asking questions was frowned upon, or why we had to accept what we've always been told as the truth. Maybe some things aren't as black and white as we'd like to think. So, we set out to create a space to have an HONEST dialogue that welcomes questions, doubts, and fears about faith, church culture, and everything in between. The three of us behind the mics are no experts, but our goal is to help listeners start asking questions or maybe even find some answers. Christian AF is a podcast for people that are over church, have been burned by church, don’t get church, or have been told not to question their faith. So as we like to say, kick back, grab a drink, and start questioning!
(Christian AF is based out of Rockford, IL run by members for Grassroots Church).

Considering the Bible's saintly reputation, it packs surprising gore, horror, and depravity. As well as beauty, wisdom, and tedium. For millennia, the Bible has held Western culture captive to its strange stories of ancient people trying to figure out God.Maybe you're not religious, but you're curious about the Bible. Maybe you grew up in church, but you're looking for a new way to relate to the Bible. Welcome! We're Sam and Amanda. We're obsessed with the Bible. Sam is a liberal Presbyterian who became post-modern by studying the Bible too much. Amanda is a mystic naturalist Unitarian Universalist with Reformed and Evangelical roots. We are wrestling with what the Bible can mean in the midst of radical questioning, faith changes, depression, and self-doubt. We hope you'll join us as we appreciate, dissect, criticize, defend, and generally nerd out about the Bible from our progressive religious perspectives.

Exmormonology is a podcast created to help you work through your faith crisis out of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, AKA The Mormons. Leaving high demand religion is most likely one of the hardest things you will ever do and takes longer than you think it will. My faith crisis began in 2006 and back in the day there was not a huge wonderful exmormon community that there is today. I felt very alone, especially as a woman. I did not see any women creating content that I needed at that time. So, once I got on my feet under me, after a free fall that seemed to last for a very long time, I decided to be a public face for other women who where struggling just like I was. In 2012 I started a YouTube channel, where my old videos still call home. In the early days I called myself Soul Searching Girl, on YouTube. Exmormonology began in 2019. I am a certified life coach and I have helped hundreds of transitioning mormons leaving the fold. I hope this podcast helps you through your soul searching days. You are going to be okay. It is going to be hard and heartbreaking, but you will make it through. Use the coaching tools that I share here on the podcast to help you heal and move on from the church. You are an amazingly brave wildflower and I am here to watch you find out just what you were made for. (I heart Barbie) If you would like to work with me in a coaching relationship, reach out. I am still taking clients and I would love to help you. [email protected]

Welcome to Not Winning, a conversation about faith, humility and the upside-down Kingdom of Jesus. Jesus said in the Gospel of Matthew that anyone who wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for him will find it. Two thousand years later, we face a culture fixated on no compromises, dominating our opponents and winning at all costs. Even in our Jesus-following faith communities, we are finding it hard to find the same selfless and humble postures that we see in the stories of Jesus and his followers being walked out in our world today. Why is that? And how can we get back to practicing these beautiful expressions of the Christian faith?

Explore stories from the Bible alongside personal stories from the 21st century. Join your hosts, Patricia Manwaring and Elisa Booker, who have had the opportunity to deconstruct their postmodern Christian faith and still think there's something beautiful to hold onto. The Exile Project invites you on a journey to look at the story of the Biblical narrative through a new lens that can bring healing and life. This podcast is a production of Worship Lab.

Welcome to Mediocre Mystic - the podcast where we explore how mediocre makes the world go round and how mediocre works in mysterious ways. Join host Grace as she talks about all things messy and muddled as we find the middle way to mystic magic.
Mediocre Mystic is proud to host Lunar Aligned and Quieted Mind. Meliea Black joins us for intuitive tarot and oracle readings. James Buckley joins us for guided meditation and dharma talks. These collaborations make for a rich feed full of practices to cherry pick what works best for you - one or all!
